Mr. Young has a Juris Doctorate degree from American University Washington College of Law where he served as president of the Black Law Students’ Association. He completed his bachelors degree in business at Morehouse College.


Bernadette Betmashal

Bernadette graduated with a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law where she was the Vice President of Environmental Law Society and a member of the Business law Association. During her time at McGeorge, Bernadette volunteered her time at a student-run legal clinic that delivers quality pro bono representation to underserved community members.

It is Bernadette’s prior experience in the business field that gives her an edge over many others in her field. Prior to law school, Bernadette earned an undergraduate degree in three short years with a Bachelor of Science in Finance along with a minor in pre-law from the University of the Pacific (UOP). Bernadette graduated UOP with Cum Laude.During her time at UOP, she was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an academic honor society. She was also an active member of Operation Smile Student, an organization that raised much-needed funds for children with cleft lips who were able to obtain a life-changing surgery. In her free time, Bernadette enjoys spending time with family. Her favorite pass time is to explore family-owned restaurants in the community.

Karen Gonzalez

Karen Gonzalez loves to study and was allotted the opportunity to study Political Science and History. As the Firm’s Operations Manager, she enjoys making sure clients as well as her coworkers are taken care of. Karen states she enjoys coming to work everyday with her coworkers who are like her family to her, and she aspires to make every client feel welcomed as part of the Firm’s growing family. On her free time Karen spends with her family, at the Sacramento Food Bank and is a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system. Karen is eager to advocate alongside you towards your pursuit of justice so please feel free to call the office anytime.
